ECC is a Brand Partner with Air New Zealand for the Koru Club lounges, and has supplied a range of furniture and lighting for the Melbourne International Lounge, amongst others. In Melbourne, the centerpiece of the decorative lighting is the Bud pendant designed by New Zealander Jeremy Cole. Jeremy launched his design career with the Aloe range, which is inspired by the Agave plant, a tropical cactus with distinctive fleshy-leaved flowers that lend themselves perfectly to sculptural lighting. Aloe is made from individually handmade porcelain leaves that produce a calming, glowing light.
The ever-popular Lem bar stools by Lapalma surround the bar area. They are a wonderful piece of design with their clean, minimalist lines, and come in a wood, leather, laminate, fabric or stainless steal finish. Also from Lapalma is the Fedra stackable chair in wood laminate, with a stainless steel base.
Commercial quality recessed downlights from Italian lighting manufacturer iGuzzini were the choice for general lighting. The minimal visual impact of the Pixel and Reflex models and vast range of personalised lighting possibilities are the main features of these highly innovative lights. The Stealth Screen lights, both round and linear, from Antares have been used in the bathrooms, and give a discreet light source with solid, long-lasting looks.
